Poem of random feelings

Dreams only come alive in night
Never to come true in life
Bonds between hearts are broken
Bound only for a moment in time
Wounds are never healed
The pain swept away by the tides of time
Some Feelings can never be felt again
Lost in quicksand of time
Memories of love are never forgotten
The longing lingers in heart,soul and mind

Thoughts on Life

The idea of putting my thoughts to paper was doing rounds for few days now. Finally decided to go ahead and pen down my musings (or ramblings..!).These are just an expression of my own feelings and I have no intention of any literary exploits.

My idea of life has always been very simple. Life wasn’t very eventful back in those days. I diligently followed the same monotonous routine I created for myself. But recent turn of events changed everything. What seemed well settled turned upside down. Future now seems a bit blurred…life little unreal. If it sounds a bit too sad, pessimistic then it is. I have my reasons.

Life is mostly about managing expectations. When you are young you try to keep up with your parents expectations, when you are a bit old you learn to live up to your friends expectations. Later at life comes expectations from people in your work place and last but most important of all, expectations of your loved one. The trick probably lies in how you learn to deal with all these expectations .

There are brighter sides to life as well. If you have the love of your family, you probably got everything. It is very important to care for people around you - your parents, relations and friends. These are the people who will support you when you need them the most. Their true worth is beyond any measures of value.

Talking about love in relationships, well what can you say? One moment you think you are in love with some one and have the comfort of being loved, the next moment you find yourself left alone…with a broken heart . Keep asking myself questions, is it wrong to trust some one with your love, is it wrong to take someone’s love for granted? The best answer I found, only friendship comes with unconditional love, relationship has its preconditions. So why do we keep falling in love? Knowing that one day our trust could be broken! It is probably our inherent nature, cruel conspiracy of hormones which keeps on triggering the very feeling (or “illusion”) of love. We pride ourselves as being the most intelligent of all the species on earth, yet we are most vulnerable when it comes to love...may be there isn't anything called love between a man and a women...its just natural selection at play.
